The Rev. Chris Keane: “A Guaranteed Future” (1 Peter 1:3-12)

Chris Keane, preaching at St. Mary’s Church, Basingstoke in the United Kingdom, we have the audio sermon A Guaranteed Future, based on 1 Peter 1:3-12.  This is the second in a series of sermons to be preached on the First Epistle of Peter, and Rev. Keane helps us see the certainty of the living hope that the Apostle Peter writes about in this passage, and which we indeed now have.

Incidentally, at the very beginning of this message Rev. Keane mentions the last sentence of verse 12, Even angels long to look into these things.  That does make me wonder: if angels long to look into these things, the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, should not we also have this hunger to hear and to learn of these wonders?
