A free Lenten devotional in Kindle format: “Lord of Glory” by Dr. Ray Pritchard

February 14, 2015

From Dr. Ray Pritchard of Keep Believing Ministries, here is a free Kindle e-book titled Lord of Glory: A Daily Lenten Devotional on the Names of Christ.  (The caveat to this book is that it was written for Lent 2014 – so the dates do not match this year.  But I do not see that as an insurmountable obstacle.)  If you are looking for a Lenten devotional, this book is very much worth a look, because Dr. Pritchard here focuses on a different name of Christ each day of Lent – and as the Amazon notes say:

His names tell us who he is. His names tell us why he came. His names tell us how he can help us. His names tell us why we worship him.

I cannot think of a better way to observe Lent than learning more about the Lord of Glory.

.EDIT: Apparently the book is no longer free, but costs $2.99.  I’d say it is worth that amount, anyway, but I guess some of the free books on Amazon have expiration dates!

When I click on the link to the devo, it’s not free.

Thanks for letting me know. I guess the “free” aspect was for a limited time only. I’ll update this post in a couple of hours.
