From The Eric Metaxas Show: Dr. Michael Youssef on Islam and eschatology

February 26, 2016

This turned out to be a quite fascinating interview by Eric Metaxas with Dr. Michael Youssef on the subject of Islam and the end times.  Dr. Youssef is rector of the Church of the Apostles in Atlanta and studied at Moore Theological College, Fuller Seminary, and Emory University; here he talks about Islam, their eschatology and his new book End Times and the Secret of the Mahdi.

Will thank you for Blogging this, it is a fascinating subject and one that Joel Richardson(a pen name) and Walid Shoebat have been addressing for well over ten years, as their books and Websites will attest.

Eric and Michael didn’t mention The Dajjal (Al-Maseeh [The Messiah] Ad-Dajjal [The Liar/Deceiver]) which is Islam’s anti-Christ and which is well worth an internet search.

Also it is erronoeus to say that keeping the Five Pillars of Islam guarantees Salvation; it most definitely does not, but rather according to Islam, Salvation is an arbitrary decision on the part of Allah and even Muhammad himself is not guaranteed Salvation, he will not know until The Last Day.

Hope those comments are helpful. If you are happy to include a URL in a Comment then this free online e-Book by Joel Richardson is most enlightening:

“Will Islam Be Our Future? A Study of Biblical and Islamic Eschatology”
