One more book added to the “Resources on the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion” page
Somewhat to my surprise I came across another text on the Thirty-Nine Articles today – Testimonies of the Fathers of the first four centuries to the Doctrine and Discipline of the Church of England as set forth in the Thirty-Nine Articles, by the Rev. Henry Cary. (Rev. Cary was actually an emigrant to Australia where he served as both a rector and as a lawyer.) This book was published in 1835, and the author is endeavoring to show the Articles and the Fathers as being in harmony, which theme you will also find in quite a few other texts on the Articles of Religion. I have added it to the Resources on the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion page.
